MPM and Stylized COPs Test
Test I put together in the days after the release of Houdini 20.5
I was interested mainly in the use of COPs for non photo realistic rendering. For a subject I chose a quick MPM set up to stick with the theme of new things in Houdini. I also made the procedural tiling texture in COPs.
The effect relies heavily on using the kuwahara filter to mask the low point count used in the original simulation. This also helped create a more painterly look in the fire and smoke which was a look I have tested in the past with Blender’s compositor.
