Stylized Burning and Smoke Test

Test I did with Pyro and FLIP in Houdini that I brought into Blender for rendering. I was interested in creating a melting effect and then rendering that with painterly stylized compositing.

The Pyro and Compositing were very straight forward. However the meshing of the FLIP sim required a few iterations to ensure the inner cavities of the mesh stayed consistent.

As with my other Houdini to Blender projects, I exported from Houdini with alembics, and then set up lighting, shaders, and compositing in Blender.
